The Journal

This journal sits at the centre of the site as a kind of behind-the-scenes space. It’s where ideas begin, where daily routines, thoughts, and observations surface, and where new work often first appears. Rather than documenting finished projects in depth, this journal follows the movement around them — the thinking, experimenting, and everyday activity that feeds into everything else.

Most days I’m working across several things at once. Artwork, writing, visual experiments, ideas that arrive while walking, sitting in cafés, or working things through quietly. This journal gives me a place to note those moments as they happen, to explore what’s on my mind that day, and to point toward new projects, new directions, or new pieces of work as they emerge.

As individual projects develop, they’ll often grow into their own dedicated spaces elsewhere on the site. When that happens, this journal will link outward to them rather than trying to hold everything in one place. Sometimes I’ll touch briefly on what’s happening within a project here, and other times I’ll simply flag that something new exists and let it unfold on its own terms.

For now, this journal is intentionally light and open. It’s a space for movement rather than conclusions, for noticing what’s forming rather than defining what it all means. Where it goes over time will depend on what continues to surface, but at its core it remains a simple record of an active creative life in progress.
